Adamantis Charter v0.5

Powers & Layer Paths

A sovereign system must know the difference between contribution, trust, verification, leadership and technical access.

Adamantis rejects invisible power.

No role may become absolute authority.

No score may become a crown.

No admin may become a ruler.

No leader may verify their own truth.

No auditor may hide behind secrecy.

No contributor may be excluded from accountability.

Power must be separated.

Responsibility must be visible.

Changes must be remembered.

The Participation Path

Adamantis recognizes four contribution levels.

L1 — Participant: A person who enters the system, learns the principles and begins visible participation.

L2 — Verified Contributor: A person whose identity, actions or contributions have passed basic verification.

L3 — Trusted Builder: A contributor with repeated verified work, reliability and constructive participation.

L4 — Steward: A high-responsibility contributor trusted to protect a domain, process, node or knowledge path.

L1 to L4 are not nobility.

They are responsibility levels.

A higher level does not make a person more human. It makes their actions more accountable.

The Three Power Paths

After L4, responsibility separates into three paths.

Community Leader: Coordinates people, local priorities, conflict resolution and community direction.

Auditor: Verifies claims, evidence, impact, production, conduct and role integrity.

Admin: Maintains technical systems, access control, deployment, security and infrastructure.

These paths must remain separate.

A Community Leader does not automatically become an Auditor.

An Auditor does not automatically become an Admin.

An Admin does not automatically become a Leader.

No single path may silently dominate the others.

Community Leaders

Community Leaders coordinate.

They do not own the community.

Leadership must come from trust, service, visibility and consent.

A Community Leader may guide decisions, organize work, represent a node and help resolve conflict.

A Community Leader may not approve their own claims without independent verification.

A Community Leader may not hide conflicts of interest.

A Community Leader may not override audit truth.

Communities must retain the right to review, replace or limit leaders.

Auditors

Auditors protect truth.

Their purpose is not punishment.

Their purpose is verification.

Auditors examine claims, evidence, production records, impact reports, disputes and role behavior.

Auditors must be independent from the claim they verify.

No auditor may verify a claim where they hold direct financial interest.

No auditor may erase evidence.

No audit may disappear from the system memory.

Audit results must be visible.

Sensitive evidence may require KYC access.

Private identity data must remain protected.

Admins

Admins maintain the system.

They do not rule the system.

Admins may manage deployment, databases, access, security, backups and technical recovery.

Admins may not erase audit history.

Admins may not silently alter claims, roles, scores, reserves or governance outcomes.

Every important admin action must enter the changelog.

Admin access must be limited, logged and reviewable.

Technical control is not moral authority.

Visibility Rule

The changelog is public.

Every important change must be visible to everyone.

This includes role changes, claim status changes, audit outcomes, release changes, governance actions and major system updates.

Adamantis may protect private data.

Adamantis may not hide public consequence.

Audit Access Rule

Every verified person may access audit results.

KYC-verified users may access deeper audit evidence when privacy, security and lawful constraints allow it.

Audit visibility has layers.

Public: claim status, audit result, timestamp, change reason, public summary.

KYC-visible: evidence package, supporting documents, detailed verification trail.

Restricted: raw identity files, private addresses, security-sensitive material, protected personal data.

Transparency must not become doxxing.

Privacy must not become corruption.

Separation Rule

Adamantis separates rank from power.

Contribution levels measure participation.

RAI measures earned trust.

Leadership coordinates people.

Auditors verify truth.

Admins maintain infrastructure.

These must not collapse into one throne.

No person may hold unchecked authority across contribution, governance, audit and administration at the same time.

Where power overlaps, review must increase.

Final Rule

Power without memory becomes abuse.

Trust without verification becomes manipulation.

Administration without audit becomes control.

Leadership without consent becomes domination.

Adamantis survives only if responsibility remains visible, separated and reversible.
